Sometimes I sit and reflect upon my life choices. I decided to take admission in an engineering college in Dehradun and I think it was one of the best choices that I’ve ever made. Studying in a top technical university which has a grade A accreditation by NAAC is a big deal in itself. It is a very enriching experience and I’m really glad to be a part of it. It is a journey of learning that lasts a lifetime.  The programs that are offered here provide an excellent opportunity for students to strengthen their knowledge, broaden their experience and develop their skills.

The teachers are ever so encouraging, nurturing and are great mentors and have a rich experience in their respective fields of study. They are pillars of support when it comes to enabling students to excel in their academics.



The university believes in an overall development of its students. Apart from academics, there are a lot of extra and co curricular activities that take place all year around. There are various clubs that you can be a part of based on your interest.  I joined the quiz and photography club and I think it’s a great way to hone your skills and also meet people who share the same interests as you do. The university conducts annual Fest where in each of these clubs invite participation from all the students of the university in various contests. Also, the social network that you develop here, make the time that you spend here, even more rewarding.

The students are engaged in activities which help them gain confidence in subjects they learn. All the lectures, seminars, tutorials, workshops etc help a student in developing great learning skills which make them steadfast in their careers.

It is my last year in the university and I see a major change in me. I’m glad I got this opportunity and I made the most of it and did not while away my time doing absolutely nothing. I utilized every moment in shaping myself up so I could face any challenges in life. Our mentality is still stuck in the medieval times. We think we know a lot but what we know is very little. Born and Raised in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, I have heard a lot about Graphic Era University, but from what I have heard, what I have seen and what I have learned; is something to share about to change the picture  what other parents and their children have created in the mind.

Have the thoughts of an orthodox been prevailing in our own country India or are we fully modernized citizens of our country? May be YES Or May be NO, A person must be orthodox upon most things or he/she will never ever have time to preach his/her own heresy. I took the review of Graphic Era University from many parents, excluding those parents who have admitted their child in Graphic Era University. Finally short listing the contents of the review the major problem which came forward was regarding the placements, environment, safety and eligibility criteria. 



Contradicting their allegations with proof I want to inform parents that The Graphic Era University is accredited with grade A by NAAC, Graphic Era Hill University is also a member of the Association of India Universities (AIU). Graphic Era University also has a Centre of Excellence Partner with TATA Technologies. Students are admitted on the basis of the eligibility criteria set by the administrative department, providing scholarships to students on the basis of 12 percentage as well as providing scholarship on the semester percentage to motivate students to work hard and be on the right path.  I think that any comparison between Graphic Era University and DIT is unfair. 

I have visited both virtually and personally. Graphic Era is sets different standards of excellence in education as firstly, it is a Deemed University that too with A grade by NAAC, the most reputed and genuine government rating agency in the country. 

I think DIT holds no chance of any comparison with Graphic Era University in Dehradun. The campus placements of the University are also quite outstanding. Moreover, the credentials of the faculty at Graphic Era that I saw on the website is quite impressive. 

My take between the two: no second thought: it is Graphic Era All the way….
